Q: Exactly what is a "büti-bag" and how do you SAY it?

A: When discussions started surrounding forming a company, our search was on to find an appealing and unusual name that defined one’s treasure. The term "booty" was mentioned and it was an immediate hit for the implied double meaning. We then decided to play with the spelling to make it even more unique, thus the origin of our corporate name, the büti-bag company (actually pronounced "booty bahg" - but we just say "booty bag" around here!).

Q: What are some of the suggested uses for the bundle?

A: The possibilities are endless, really. We have had so many suggestions from friends, focus groups, customers, etc. Here is a listing of some of the more popular ideas:

Q: How do I care for buti-bag products?

1) bundles: spot cleaning is recommended for the exteriors.* Both of these products have microfiber water-repellent interior linings. The linings are not completely water-proof, however, so please wipe spills immediately. Do not machine wash or dry!

2) bi-o-pads and blankets: delicate wash in cold water tumble dry low. Do not iron. Do not use fabric softener as is will affect the water-repellency of the lining.

3) burp and bib sets: delicate wash (due to ribbon trim) and tumble dry low heat. Cool iron if needed, taking care not to use iron on ribbon without a pressing cloth or some thin cotton blend fabric between the iron and ribbon so as to keep from damaging the ribbon and/or embellishments (i.e. polkadots).

4) pod: wipe clean with soft damp cloth when necessary.

Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?

A: On in-stock items, you should receive your purchase within 5 business days after shipment has been made depending on your location - the farther west, the longer it can take since we are on the East coast. You will receive an email with tracking information upon shipment.

We ship via USPS and FedEx Ground based on weight and distance. Expedited shipping is available. Shipping charges will calculate upon checkout.

Due to the made-by-hand nature of our products, it usually takes us 3-4 weeks to restock an item once it is sold out. We will send you an email within 1-2 business days if anything you have purchased is backordered with an estimated ship date.

Q: Do you gift wrap?

A: Depending on the size of the product/s ordered, we will be happy to gift wrap your items. Extra charges may apply.

Q: Will I be charged sales tax?

Sales tax is applicable on orders shipped to addresses in the state of North Carolina.

Q: What payments do you accept?

We accept the following methods of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal.

Q: Is my credit card information secure?

Your credit card information is securely encrypted through our Mals-E shopping cart service and Paypal. You do not have to be a PayPal member to purchase our products - just click on the credit card link to use your credit card directly.


Q: What if I have a problem placing my order?
A: Please send us an email and we will contact you as soon as possible.

Q: What is your Return Policy?

We want our customers to be happy! We will be glad to make an exchange or send a store credit if you are unsatisfied with a product. You must contact the buti-bag company within 14 days of receipt of shipment to obtain a Return Merchant Authorization (RMA) number. The buti-bag company will not accept any return or exchange without a RMA written on the return. The item must be in new, unused condition with original tags and packaging. Please ship prepaid and insured back to us after getting a Return Authorization. Shipping and handling on returned merchandise is non-refundable unless there has been an error on our part or the merchandise is defective. Please email sales@thebuti-bagco.comfor return or exchange information. Personalized or custom products cannot be returned or exchanged.

If you have purchased your item(s) from one of our retailers, please contact them directly for their return policy. We cannot accept returns for items purchased from another retailer.
